Amazing !!!

Living in an apartment my garden was in containers on the patio.I purchase MiracleGro Moisture control as my soil and i got alot more than i expected.Everything in full bloom and producing i couldnt believe it even tomatoes in this Florida heat!!! I cant wait to plant the winter veggies this is saving me alot of money! Thank you Miracle Gro and Scots

Moisture Control Potting Mix 64 qt - no longer quality product

I have been using Miracle-Gro for decades. I had 1/2 a 64qt bag of the the Moisture Control Potting Mix that I purchased last year, but required more mix for a raised bed. I purchased 8 bags and the quality is not even close to the bag from last year. The bags are filled with sticks and roughage and very poor quality soil. Clearly the composting process was not complete. I spent a lot of money to fill the raised bed and had to borrow a truck for the purchase. I am extremely disappointed.
Cons: poor quality mix
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Miracle-Gro® Moisture Control® Potting Mix works well for container gardens, window boxes as well as to agent soil in walkway garden.

I use Miracle-Gro® Moisture Control® Potting Mix on my walkway which is part sun. Also in containers around my patio which is part shade. As well as in out window boxes that are in a sunny area. I didn't use it last year and I really noticed the difference! Plus it was a wetter year last year - and I still had to water more. I also noticed the miracle grow in the potting mix made the difference too. Last year I tried a competitor that has dissolvable round balls of fertilizer that stays on the top - and I was really surprised it did not work that well. So I am so glad to be back using this product! I think it helps to regulate the moisture as well as fertilizes the plants well.

Best Soil Available

I love this soil. I love the fact that it is a moisture control and I especially love that the fertilizer is already in there. My plants love it and I really love it. It's foolproof !! It gives my plants the best possible soil to live and thrive in. Thank you for developing such a wonderful product.

After years (way too many) of not changing out the dirt in my window boxes, I finally bucked up and did it this past spring. What a difference the "moisture control" makes! The window boxes are a little more involved to water, so doing it is kind of a job. Honestly, this was the best product for those who don't like to water! The flowers and coleus plants are still blooming! I bet I watered only a handful of times all summer. Amazing product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and I had gone out to buy potting soil. we both came home with a different brand. I had the Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix. In a few days it was clear which was the better potting soil. Because of this we do not buy anything but Miracle-Gro products.
