tested on a good lawn... and

Even following the instructions, I didn't really see much improvement in the green landscape. I waited a whole week and nothing to claim as noticeable. My lawn was already green... so it could be that I had a good lawn already... just wanted to see if there was any greener it could get.

We're sorry to read about your disappointment with Scotts Green Max Lawn Food and appreciate your feedback.

The most common reason a lawn does not respond to fertilizer is due to an imbalance in the soil pH. Soil pH must be between 5.5-7.5 for fertilizer to be absorbed by the grass. You can obtain a soil test kit from your local County Extension Office to determine the pH of your lawn soil.

We want you to be confident in our products. For this reason, we offer a product guarantee to our consumers. At your earliest convenience, please reach out to us at 888-270-3714 if we can further assist.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product and saw great results in only a couple of days. My lawn was already green and looking g great but this protocol it to the next level. I followed directions. I also took care not to leave any on the concrete as the iron in the product could leave stains.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In just one week I am seeing results where before I could get grass to grow. The area is mostly in the shade and I have had many failures trying to grow grass here. This product produces right away and I recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the greenest lawn in my neighborhood, thanks to Scotts. Because I have a smaller yard, I will have enough product to do another feeding later this year. Easy to apply with my Scott's rotary spreader.

used on fescue... Didn't see too much of a green up, but maybe the grass was as green as it could be. Still have faith in Scotts, will apply it again in near future.
