Your Nighbor will ask you what you used on your lawn. I would apply more than the label but you will not believe the growth and how green your lawn is.

So I’m a newbie to lawn care and had to trust this whole process with 1)Weed and feed, then 2)allowing Green Max to do its thing after a few weeks allowing the weed n feed to kill weeds first before applying. I thought the weed n feed killed my Bermuda grass but my friend said just wait a few weeks. We were blessed with several days of rain which fast tracked Green Max tremendously. I was feeling some kind of way bc everyone’s lawn was so green however many of my neighbors use Professional and expensive lawn care services. Now my lawn is the envy of my street! This stuff is the truth and I’m so pleased w- the results.

Product does just as it claims very well

Threw down a day prior to a soaking rain, and after 6 days I am noticing a greener lawn, along with verdant growth, definitely would recommend this product, especially to someone with a well established lawn.

I have used Green Max for 10yrs and love it. I have read all of the reviews and can with all certainly say I have not had any problems. And will boldly say READ the instruction it tells you to sweep your sidewalk. I live in North Carolina we don't have bad winters but some of the summers are pretty bad and my lawn always concerns me in the summer. I am in my early 70s and a high water bill hurts but with proper watering I can have a beautiful lawn. In my very humble area, I do have a lawn that all that passes will comment on favorably. I am not telling anyone what or how to use but for me I have used Scotts Green Max as much as every 4wks and will use it at least every 6wks common sense tells you lawns need water, no rain you water. One person say's it didn't work in three days after re seeding it takes 7-11 days for most seeds to germinate and Green Max is not made for seeding Scotts Starter is new grass needs to be at 2 1/2" tall But read the bag,it tells you all you need to know. One other it don't have a pre-emergent in it. Use a feed and weed instead of in late spring and you will be happy.

Greener lawn

I've been using Scott's product for about a year on my new lawn. My lawn was light green with a few brown spots. I used a heavy duty rack to remove the brown grass. And then added Scott's max green. After 30 days of special care i.e. watering and mowing my lawn. I was able to see the fruits of my labor and Scott's max green love.

If you guys need a pop of color from your granular application, this stuff works great! I usually check during the year for the cheaper prices. Getting ready to put this stuff down during our hot temps in Texas.

I used this product 5 years ago and had awesome results. This year I skipped Scotts weed and feed and decided to just "feed" because I don't have any weeds. It has rained for 2 weeks in the Midwest and applied product once it stopped to a very wet lawn. 1 week later I have burn spots in my lawn! My yard looked flawless before I laid this product down, what did I do wrong? I only use Scotts products but now I don't know what to think.
