[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time I've used this specific product. Have always used Scott's weed and feed and with halts every year. 5 applications per year. Put Green Max on this year a few.weeks earlier than usual. Could tell after a.couple.weeks that my yard greened up faster than my neighbors. He uses a lawn service

Easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lawn food is easy to use. I just put it in my spreader and applied it to my lawn. I hope to see results very soon. The directions were easy to follow. I like the bag it came in. It was easy to pour into the spreader.

Grass is still dormant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this was the wrong application period for this product. My grass appears to still be dormant doesn’t want to wake up yet. I applied the product March 11th, waited 7 days and took pics again. The grass is beginning to wake but there was no noteworthy changes or greening. I thoroughly read the packaging and didn’t see anything about application timeframes or types of grass it works on. (I have Bermuda).

Really does work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product really does work when use as directed. All you need is a spreader and you do the product right before you mowed your lawn. I have noticed that my lawn is the green as it has ever been after using this product. It is greener than neighbors lawn who uses a professional lawn person. I would recommend this to someone who is looking to improve the look of their lawn.

Too early?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a bag of this for review. We put it down a couple weeks ago and haven't really noticed a difference. Was only the beginning of March so maybe too early yet. We live in eastern NC and the grass really hasn't even started growing back yet.

opal1031, we're sorry to hear Scotts Green Max Lawn Food didn't perform as expected. For best results, lawn food should be applied when temperatures are consistently above 55 degrees.
