STAINS YOUR DRIVEWAY AND SIDEWALK

MY LAWNS COLOR DID CHANGE TO A DARKER GREEN, BUT THE FERTILIZER STAINED MY DRIVEWAY AND SIDEWALK. WAS VERY UNHAPPY WITH THAT OUTCOME

We are sorry to hear about the damage to concrete or pavers that occurred after using Scotts Green Max Lawn Food. The iron in Green Max Lawn Food will stain concrete, pavers and other hard surfaces as indicated on the back of the label. The quicker a stain removal process is begun, the more effective the process will be. Sunlight and water will help to fade the iron stains from the product on outdoor surfaces, but will not completely remove them. You can use Goof Off Rust Stain Remover Outdoors, or Super Iron Out to remove the stains. Please note, neither of those products are endorsed by Scotts. We always recommend testing the product in an inconspicuous area before use.

Do not use this product. Stains concrete.

Who has to read a bag of fertilizer? You spread it and water it and grass grows. I had no idea it would stain the brand new sidewalk in my front yard. Now I have a bigger mess than I started with. I will not use Scott's again. Please put a big warning on the bag.
Cons: Messy, stains concrete, never had this happen before

Green Max works exactly as advertised. I have Tiffway 419 and this product gives my lawn a very rich dark green color everytime. I've used straight nitrogen in summer months but it can't compare to the color I get using Green Max. I've used Scott's products for years and never had it clump in spreader, make sure to sweep off concrete or it will stain.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Directions, Effective

Greens fast, stays green

I used this on my bermuda lawn right as it left hibernation, and it turned green very quickly, and has stayed greener than the neighbors lawns throughout the summer. Neighbors yards have gotten patchy brown in the heat, but mine is still green.
I also used it on my backyard (tall fescue) towards the end of the summer, and the fescue has remained green as well.
If you are careful with application (using a edge guard) and you clean the product from your sidewalks, you will avoid staining, as per the instructions. The extra 10 minutes with a leaf blower is worth the green, but it does require extra time.
Only reason it is not 5 stars is because it is more expensive than other brands - but it does work.

Amazing product

I have to say i have been through 3 lawn care services and tried numerous products to get my lawn looking green. I was skeptical but this stuff blew me away. In less than a week the grass was much darker green and looked so much healthier. This stuff is truly amazing and lives up to its promise and more. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to make there lawn look better in a VERY short time.
I will put this down as recommended every 6-8 weeks from now on. I have the best lawn in the neighborhood overnight.

I bought this to try a new product. My yard has been a showcase for years and thought the extra price may give better results. The grass is green , but I see little difference between using it and turf builder.
Pros: Easy to Use
Cons: Didn't work as expected

Burned my lawn!!!

I tried this and followed the directions to the letter 3 days later my lawn was burnt and brown , will never ever use this again!!!
