Excellent for Zoysia Empire

After I’ve done my Spring weed and feed, I use Green Max every 6-8 weeks with the last Green Max feeding in last August. It gives the maximum growth, thickness and a dark green color you’d expect from a high nitrogen/iron fertilizer. No yard will be as dark green as yours. The down side is that you almost can’t keep up with the growth when the night time temps regularly stay in the mid 70s or above. Still, this is my go to fertilizer for the bulk of the growing season.

Fast Greening of Grass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this down before a day of rain and within maybe 3-5 days, boom! Intense green. Greenest my yard has ever been. It’s kind of making my neighbors yards look pretty bad. I just hope the green lasts for a long period of time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Scotts Green Max Lawn Food is the mainstay of my lawn treatment plan. I start the season with it, early to get a good green-up in my lawn. I'll use the Summer Guard and Winter Guard products for those months, and then mainly use this for the in-between. I spot treat weeds, so the Green Max Lawn Food is the perfect regular feed for my lawn. It goes on easy and greens up the lawn, fast. I highly recommend this and any of the Scotts product for a reliable fertilization for your lawn.
