I love this product

I love this product, put it on grant. It takes four or five days but you see a significant green hue within two weeks. My yard is beautiful.

I applied this about two weeks ago after a very dry spell hit the region. My lawn was very dried out and brown. I applied and waited for a green up. After about three to four days my lawn started to show life. Then after a good rain finally came my deep green lawn came back.

People stop to comment on my lawn ! Max Works

Pedestrians and drivers will stop in front of my house and comment on how great my lawn looks. I live in Colorado and always had problems with keeping just an average lawn, then I started doing some things different. When I retired, I fired my lawn mowers who cut the grass down to putting green height.... it looked awful.. I raised my mower blade to give the grass a chance. I stopped using herbicide components to control dandelions and started digging them manually.... in about two years I had very few dandelions. I apply Scotts Max Lawn Food several times a year especially in early March and late April and in the fall. I do not have a manicured lawn by any stretch of the imagination, but the grass itself looks fantastic. I highly recommend Scotts Max Lawn food.

Best Lawn in the Neighborhood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product gave me amazing results. After unsatisfactory results from professional lawn care companies I finally decided to takes on this task. I immediately turned to Scott’s since they are the clear industry leader in all lawn care products. The results with their fertilizers, weed control and crabgrass preventer was unprecedented!!!! The longevity and slow release component of the fertilizer not only gave great and long lasting results but the cost saving was used to enjoin other Scott’s products. I over-seeded with a variation of Tall Fescue, Shade Mix and Scott’s Northeast Mix. The seed is coated with starter fertilizer which brings great results and eliminates the need to purchase starter fertilizer. The results were PHENOMENAL!

Throw down a 27-0-3 synthetic fert in the middle of summer and you’re bound to burn. Proceed with caution.

Works beautifully!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a recent concrete addition to pati done leaving areas needing backfilled and reseeded, This didn't work in three days, but three weeks after applying it, my lawn looks amazing. It is growing fast and actually starting to grow into some bald patches. Inlaid down Scotts top soil, wetted, then seeded initially to get great results.

Perfectly GREEN Grass!

I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews on this product. I have used it for years and have had terrific results. The only downside I see is that I have to mow WAY more frequently - but that's a result of a healthy, green lawn! I will say that I have Pacific Palisades Zoysia grass and one year I put it on too early. The lawn didn't green up for weeks - but this was MY mistake. You can put down as much feed or fertilizer as you want - but it won't make a difference if the temperature isn't warm enough for this type of grass.
