Burned parts of my lawn

Been using Scotts products for over 10years with success. (Spring Weed and Feed, Fall Weed and Feed). However, this is my first time using Green Max lawn food. Using the recommended settings, it burned certain areas of my lawn. I now have to purchase soil and grass seed for the bare spots. In terms of greening, it barely changed the color of the grass. Will not be buying this product again.

Disappointed

I have used Scott’s products for 30 years but was very disappointed with this fertilizer, it didn’t get my grass green in three days but it did burn my grass similar to some of the pictures from other reviews. I know how to apply fertilizer been doing it for years so it’s not that I don’t know what I’m doing this product is probably not well balanced

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] for the majority of my lawn care life i have used scotts products every now and then going to a competitor because of the price but i always come back to scotts because of the end results and asking myself why did i switch i always get good results from scotts

Very disappointed with this fertilizer

I bought this type of lawn food for the first time this year around summer time to compliment the anual feed for lawn, did everithing as instructed, had regularly watering it along with few rains drops for the last couple months and for an unknown reason my lawn has getting worst and worst with the time, the burning of my lawn does not stop, I do not know how to stop it as it will end up killing all my grass.
I have had a beautiful lawn for the past 15 years, and had always feed it with Scoot's Bonus S (southern weed and feed) with excellent results all year long for all 15 years, our lawn was allways green.
Now the majority of our lawn is brown it been dying ( burned ) since I had appied the Scott's green max. Please help how can I recover my lawn?. Your advise will be greatlyappreciated. Thanks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product for free for my review and I liked this Scotts green max lawn food very well because my lawn didn't seem to look that green and kind of looked unhealthy looking but after putting this on my lawn it seemed to really perk it back up in just a matter of 3 to 4 days. And it seemed to make my lawn look more healthy looking as the days go on and look more green and seemed to help it grow better also. Also I liked the easy to understand directions on the back of the bag, how easy it was to apply to my lawn, and how it seemed to work like it was supposed to on my lawn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Applied Scotts Green Max lawn food to my lawn for a green-up entering into the summer months. Within the three days I could notice a lush green on my lawn in the front and back yards. The product lives up to its name !!!
