We are very sorry that you encountered such inconvenience after using our Miracle-Gro Indoor Potting Mix. We do not sterilize our soil as this kills any beneficial organisms but we do compost our soils in a way to kill anything that is harmful to plants. Your trust in our brand is important to us. For that reason, we offer a product guarantee. Contact us so that we can see what may be done. We can be reached here: http://tinyurl.com/noc5mcg

Mold!

I’ve had an issue with every type of Miracle Grow potting soil except the kind for succulents. It holds moisture horribly and grows mold. This is the latest “version” of miracle grow I’ve purchased and this is the fastest I’ve gotten mold growth. I purchased on January 2 and within a week my plant looked like this. Would not recommend.
Cons: Didn't work as expected

Plant killer

This is not soil - the package should state that clearly. It is mostly air and organic matter that holds water like a sponge. It does not drain. Perlite added does not help drainage - that is an old wives' tale long ago debunked. Sold by volume, it is miraculously fluffy. Your first clue that you have been duped. Very few houseplants will be happy with constantly wet roots. There may be other ways this formula could be beneficial but putting houseplants in it isn't one of them.
Cons: Didn't work as expected, Problem with label

We hate to hear that you did not enjoy your experience with Miracle-Gro Indoor Potting Mix. When used according to directions soils will not harm plants. The soil is too dense and stays too moist and the roots can rot. We offer a guarantee that extends to all of our products. If this interests you, we ask that you contact us at https://tinyurl.com/y9nlw5xl.

Greatly Reduces Watering Frequency!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a large Croton that was in dire need of repotting. Decided to give Miracle-Gro Indoor Potting Mix a try, and am glad I did. This plant guzzles water, and immediately starts dropping leaves if the soil dries out. This potting mix appears to have a high level of peat (or some similar moisture-absorbing matter). Since repotting in this potting mix, I have been giving the plant a good soaking about once every two weeks, and it is thriving. I am very pleased, and will definitely use this product in the future.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quality, Effective
I would recommend this to a friend!

Too much non-soil in the mix

I usually just dig some dirt out of the yard, but I decided to splurge on a bag of this, since I was starting an herb garden. I couldn't believe how much stuff was in the bag - bits of stick and such. Once upon a time, a sack of potting soil was pretty much all soil. This bag seemed to be at least half full of junk. Very, very disappointed. Plus my herb seeds don't seem to like it either. I'm going to have to toss it all and start again with another product.
Cons: Didn't work as expected

We are very sorry that you were unhappy with your purchase of Miracle-Gro Indoor Potting Mix. While small pieces of bark and twigs are intentional components of our growing media including potting soil, garden soil, lawn soil, top soil, etc. (see below), you should definitely not find large pieces of wood or bark in your product. Most of our soils, especially Potting mixes and garden soils, are made of composted forest products and contain very little if any actual soil. We would be interested in speaking with you in further detail so that we can both extend to you our guarantee as well as learn more about this issue to make a more complete report to our Quality Assurance Department. We can be reached at 888-295-6902 and we ask that you please refer to your review when calling.

Plants love it

Since I switched to this mix my indoor plants have taken off. And I thought they were doing well with the regular mix. I have used this with norfolk pine, ferns, geranium, basil, spike & snake plants, even a palm. I've had indoor plants for decades but, still consider myself an amateur gardener but, Miracle Gro is making me look like a pro.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a Scott’s product fan for many years and have added the indoor putting mix to the list. It’s easy to work with and plants seem to react very well to it judging by their health and vitality. I recommend.
Cons: Messy
Pros: Good Directions, Easy to Use, Quality, Value, Effective
