[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lower freezer doesn’t have a light and it doesn’t open very smoothly. The craft balls aren’t perfectly round but nothing to bad. It’s overall a little expensive for what you get but it works.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was iffy about purchasing an LG as I had one of the "bad" ones before and the compressor went out, but so far i'm happy. I had alot of issues with the delivery company though and i'm still working on that.
I’ve had this refrigerator for about 2 months. I like everything about it except two minor things. The craft ice balls aren’t perfectly round. There is an area that has flat. Think of it as you can stand up the ice ball and it won’t roll away. It would be nice to have a light at the bottom freezer. The light is just at the top so the bottom portion is dark.
I am very pleased with my new refrigerator/freezer. I like the ice maker and crushed ice feature and makes plenty of ice for my husband & I. I'm not as pleased with the ice maker in the freezer. I have it set as instructed on "6 Icee" to make more ice, but still not making as much as it should. Ice balls do last a long time. So we'll see how we do with ice with Thanksgiving and the family coming.

10 month old frig fails with bad evaporator fan! Where is the quality! Refrigerators used to last a lifetime! Planned obsolescence? Would not recoomend.

I picked this model for its various features like a deli drawer craft ice and self close doors, among other things. The top freezer drawer is a little hard to open and it sometimes pulls the frig away from wall. Would be nice to have a freezer light for the bottom drawer. Not overly clear on how to setup craft ice with respect to the in door ice maker. Got it working OK and I understand how craft ice production works with regular ice production. The black finish seems to have a different feel and color as compared to where the LG logo is at the upper right. Almost like it needs to be pulled off.
