Nice Refrigerator, could use some enhancements

Would like the panel to show not only set point but also actual temperature since actual is what's important. As with the prior refrigerators (non-LG brands) that came before it, this one arrived with a dent in the door. More thought needs to be put into how to protect the front of the refrigerator during shipping. This is one time when copying how others do it does not pay off. The replacement door came quickly and in good condition.

It runs quietly and produces ices via the door and via the craft ice dispenser in the lower freezer. Craft ice made my friends jealous! Plenty of room and the shelving is flexible to hold various shaped containers. Door storage is adequate as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Love having separate freezer bins and the water area is big enough to hold a lot of the larger bottles that didn't fit in our previous refrigerator (not an LG).
Cons: The ice maker fan had to be serviced TWICE within the four months that we've had the refrigerator. Apparently, this is a common/known issue so be prepared. Our repair person was great and we were able to have him come back the second time as well.

The one big draw back is that is scratches very easily this needs to be improved. Have not found this to be true of our diswasher microwave or double wall ovens.
