[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator installation process had assembly issues. The freezer door did not seal along the upper RH side & resulted in frost & frozen condensation. Also, the refrigerator compartment light did not function as required. A decision was made to replace the defective unit. The second unit was installed & is performing as required. This was a major hassle & a lot of time was lost in the process of replacing the faulty unit.

Review of Frigidaire 18.3 cu. ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a *warranty replacement* refrigerator. The freezer door on the original unit developed a leak around the gasket, which allowed frost to form continuously on the inside of the door. This started occurring about 8 months after our purchase. The reason for the 3-star rating is that this problem *may* recur with the replacement refrigerator as well. (The freezer door has supposedly been redesigned, but who knows if the problem has been fixed?) Only time will tell. The replacement refrigerator also has a one-year warranty, so we should still be covered. But still, this has been a real nuisance to deal with.

Compressor Failure About 7 Months In

Like some other buyers here, the compressor for this fridge failed on us 7 months after the fridge was installed and it took about 4 months for us to get the compressor replaced. Currently, it looks like the fridge is now freezing and cooling again, but we'll see what will happen in another 7 months I guess.

Fantastic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Frigidaire refrigerator is fantastic. I had a GE refrigerator that was barely a year old that kept breaking down. After having to throw food away because of waiting two weeks each time before my refrigerator could be fixed I decided to go to a privately owned appliance store to buy a new refrigerator. I am so glad I did. I got a better price than the larger stores and better service. My Frigidaire stays nice and cold, is spacious and I am just.very satisfied with my purchase.
