Roomy and the lighting is nice

30 year replacement

I bought this as a replacement for a 1992 Frigidaire of the same size and dimensions. What an amazing upgrade. The new door storage (shelves are 2x as wide as our 30 year old model) reduces the clutter and crowding in the main compartment which was always a detriment to finding items in the old model. This upgrade alone is a good reason for a 5 out of 5 rating. There appears to be a significant upgrade in the cooling capacity of this new model, freezer items are really frozen and not just on the edge as in the previous model. This new model is also much quieter, the old model sounded like a jet taking off at start up, this one you can hardly hear. My applause to the engineers and designers for the upgrades that make the new model a pleasure to own and use.
