[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Given the times we needed to replace a 17 cf freezer and a replacement was going to take 'time'! Since we only have an 18 cu ft freezer in our kitchen with limited refrigeration we elected chose to replace our downstairs freezer with a refrigerator. Great choice. I will live with the smaller freezer so I can also have some refrigeration room. Very happy with this move. Life changes and we much make accommodations. Both downstairs appliances was/is Frigidaire's. I really like how they are put together and the features they have.

six months and it is dead

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very happy at first with this product, but after six months it stopped working. The part that failed can not be replaced in home, so the fridge, still under warranty, is supposedly being replaced. This problem with the fridge may have just been a bad part that got through, but I feel it important to report the problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this two or 3 months ago. First discovered that there's no light in the freezer compartment. Major inconvenience. And the door hinge clicks loudly when opening. That will be replaced. Plusses are that it has great capacity on the door for holding wide variety of items. Same with the interior.

Some pros and cons.

We just received this product 2 days ago to replace a 24 year old Frigidaire refrigerator that had rusted out underneath and was leaking water from the pan. We went with this brand for the reliability of the name but things have changed over the years apparently. The door shelves are very cheap in assembly (I'd be afraid to put a gallon of anything on the door as they suggest) and there are no air holes anywhere on the inside of the fridge door like they show on the video for perfect even air flow; there are air holes though in the freezer door as shown. The sliding deli drawer and fruit/vegetable drawers are also a cheaper/thinner plastic than my old fridge. With the easy close doors, where it automatically closes if you push it passed the 5" positioning, is not so easy; it actually stops 5" from closing if you don't push it very hard so we'll have to get used to that since I thought it would make it easier but now I have to worry that it's going to stay open if it wasn't pushed hard enough! This fridge looks very nice, is quiet and actually got up to perfect temperature within 2 hours of plugging it in so those are some positives. Personally, I don't think this product was worth the price we paid but nothing really is in today's society. We've only had it 2 days and haven't really put any food in it yet so we'll see but I'd have to say with the quality of the inside materials, we are pretty disappointed. If they would have had a sample model on the floor at the store for me to see in person, I'm not sure I would've bought this one to be honest.
