Good second refrigerator for pantry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just purchased this refrigerator and we are using it in our pantry as a second refrigerator. Plenty of room and it fits well in the space. The only negative I would say is that you have to purchase the ice maker as an accessory which we did not know when our builder purchased this appliance.

Frigidaire cutting too many corners...

1...Clean, simple, classic, functional design.
2...Very spacious interior considering the small footprint/modest space it takes up in the kitchen.
3...Only just plugged it in today, and so far it's cold and the doors seem to function nicely and seal very well.
Cons:
1...No light in the freezer!!!
2...Noise. More subtle than loud, but an almost constant, unpleasant buzzing-type sound as opposed to the blowing fan type sound of similar volume made by it's 30+ year-old predecessor. Hopefully this will mellow out some as the unit gets broken-in?
3...Somewhat flimsy construction overall.
4...Exceptionally cheap, flimsy, low-quality interior parts. Glass shelves sag significantly as soon as anything is placed on them, even if not at all heavy (are they even really glass? Maybe this is dangerous?). Door bins are quite large, but equally flimsy, bendy and seem like they might easily break if loaded up fully.
Dear Frigidaire, please stop cutting corners! I would happily pay more for a better made, more robust, higher quality version of this model (wish such were available!). As is, it really only deserves 2.5-stars.
Considering the price paid, this model might eventually earn itself up to 4-stars if it manages to deliver the absolutely flawless reliability of it's Amana predecessor (too bad they don't make a similar model anymore). Who knows, maybe this Fridgidaire will succeed and I certainly hope it does...it's only got 31-years to go...!!!
