[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this! It grinds coffee beans amazingly. And it's super easy to figure out. The instructions and machine are simple which is huge for me. My entire family loves the way it works and we use it daily. I would definitely recommend.

Very nice product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very economical burr grinder. Firstly, it’s a burr grinder and not a blade one which is great. The beans go into the top hopper and the end product is available in the bottom cup. Both the containers are transparent providing visual queue of its operations. The knob for grain size provide 18 different settings which is very helpful depending upon your coffee maker. I use the keurig pod so I used the fine setting. The other knob on the machine provides easy selection for qty. It is defined by amount of cups meaning if I select 1 cup, it grinds beans enough to make 1 cup of coffee. This is very handy because I don’t have to calculate and convert the number of cups to Oz or so. This machine is very easy to load and operate. the last process of removing the ground beans into the coffee maker could pose some challenges at times, especially if you are in hurry. Because it grinds perfect qty of beans and the grounds tend to stick to the container. I created a mess, a couple if times while transferring the grounds to the keurig pod. But I think it depends more on the dexterity of the user. Overall a very nice burr grinder that is a definite recommendation.

Grind settings don't work

I just got this burr grinder, and the settings don’t work! Whether I set the grinder to coarse, medium, or fine, it all comes out coarse. Very disappointed

This is certainly not the experience we want you to have. No worries, we are here to help. The possible reason for this issue is that, the burr mill is not clean. To rectify this issue, please check if there's any foreign object between the burr mills. You can also try cleaning the burr mills and the unit itself.

Can't grind fine enough

I bought this last month, but we've found that even after running beans through two times, we can't get them fine enough for our drip coffee maker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When this happens, these are the possible causes:
• Grinder setting is incorrect
• Insufficient amount of whole beans in hopper
• Grind chamber moved out of position during operation
• Top Burr Mill is not in proper position
• Unit and Burr Mill are not clean
• There is a foreign object between the two Burr Mills

To remedy these issues follow these steps:

-Set grinder setting correctly
-Add beans to hopper
-Place chamber in proper position
-Unplug unit, place top burr mill in proper position
-Clean unit, unplug it and clean burr mill
-Unplug unit and carefully dislodge foreign objects by removing the upper burr and follow cleaning instructions on page 8 of the instruction manual of the burr grinder..

Grinds great but it’s messy

Bought this in a pinch after our Bodum went out. I must say I love everything about it from ease of settings to bean hooper. BUT I have no idea how this thing got approved for design with the mess it makes. When I go to pull out the container grounds everywhere and it’s impossible to get them into the coffee machine without making it go everywhere. The design needs corrected . Honestly it would be the only reason I switched is so I’m not constantly cleaning the kitchen

Terrible

The grind adjustment knob is not marked well to see which position is in. The ground bean container , if you don’t push it downwards as you slid it it it won’t engage properly to start the grind. Also the wall of the ground beans will buildup with a chunk of powder. After about six months of use, now it won’t automatically stop if you go past the 2 serving setting. Now the grind adjustment knob won’t go the the fine ground setting without making some unusual popping noises and not grinding fine either. I don’t recommend this grinder. Spend a little more and buy a better one.

Grinder Size Preset Does Not Work

This grinder is just okay. The grinder size preset does not work. Even when set to the largest size, everything comes out as a fine powder. The grinder will stop working if the ball bearing where the bean hopper locks into is clogged. The trick is to use a q-tip to clear the area around the ball bearing so that the hopper can lock into it properly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you are having an issue with the size of the coffee grounds, please follow the troubleshooting steps below.

• Clean the unit, unplug it, and clean the burr mill.
• Unplug the unit and carefully dislodge the foreign object.
• Use a grind size selector to choose the correct grind setting.
• Reinsert Removable Top Burr Grip. Twist the Removable Top Burr Grip counterclockwise until it stops. You should hear clicks. Pull on the Removable Top Burr Grip to confirm it is locked into place.

If your coffee grinder or burr mill stops working, please check the following:
• If it is plugged in and still will not turn, check to see if there are any obstructions around the blade.
• If there are, unplug the unit and remove the obstruction from the blade before reconnecting it to the power source.
