Screws melted handle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't expect much from a toaster oven. I was roasting a red bell pepper with the door cracked open. When done I took it out and cranked back the time to off position and shut the door. I didn't notice the top broil elements still on. Timer wasn't ticking. I smelled something hot and grabbed handle to look inside. The handle pulled off in my hand with strand of melted plastic. Plastic mount on oven door suck.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great oven, but cheaply made!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my oster oven about three weeks ago, and was very happy for the first week. One morning as I went to the oven to toast my bagel, I noted that the oven door latch was broken. I had done nothing to the oven, and inspected further, finding that the steel peg on the bottom of the door latch had broken. The grommet holding it was broken also. BIG DISAPOINTMENT! AFTER JUST ONE WEEK??
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dangerously hot on outside of unit

I got this at Christmas,the outside all the way around gets extremely hot including the handle. I have burnt myself several times ( causing blistered red areas where it just quickly made contact, and 2 of my older kids have also been burned. You absolutely must use a potholder at all times. I had my previous toaster oven for several years and was never burnt. We decided tonight to throw it away, I wouldn't give it to anyone,

compact, great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this toaster oven about 4years ago. Works great no problems. I do not use it for toasting. Only complain i have it is hard to clean inside . No matter what i use nothing helps. I guess i used turbo settings too many times.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Expected better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The internal thermostat does not keep accurate temperature, I used an infrared thermometer to take measures and the toaster failed several times. My set temperature was 450 but I kept getting 397-401 as the actual temperature. Then I tested 350 but my actual temp was 289.

Great oven

I just want to know were I can find a replacement for the baking pan, its been a year with it and as I used it so much the baking tray is getting a bit darker and I would like to replace it. Thanks.

metal end on rack broke after one month

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month and a half ago and really love the oven but the metal piece on the rack that holds the pan already broke. I do not see a replacement shelf and it should still be guaranteed.
