6 slice counter top convection oven

I'm sorry to hear all the problems some people had. I've been using it for about a month and am very pleased, as my oven is a rusted ancient electric one. This bakes perfectly. Only problem is that like every other toaster oven I've had, it is impossible to keep new looking. Once it gets stained, you cannot use an abrasive cleaner, and in the process of trying to find the model number, as I would like to order another wrack, I noticed the top is filthy, but I can only use a spray cleaner (I use a vinegar mix). So my questions are: 1-how can I order an additional rack and 2-How can I clean it?

Durable, compact, and looking

Bought this a few years back. Wanted to try convection cooking. The difference between the regular toaster ovens and this was obvious. The food cooked more evenly. The oven was decently priced, looks good. Since it not electronic, instead has old school, knobs, there is not much to malfuction. The heating elements are metallic rods instead of ceramic/glass rods which tend to snap if handled roughly. For the price, this is a great product.
The only major drawback in my opinion is that there is no way to only turn on the bottom heating element. Either the top elements turns on (in Broil mode), or both top and bottom in other modes. Sometimes, you just want the food to heat from bottom. This oven does not do that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Want to buy one for all our houses. They only problem is there is only one rack. We need to use 2 racks. The 2nd rack does not need drip tray. Please tell me if and how I can get a 2nd rack. We would be so happy. Go buy this today and you will love 100%.

Does so much - compact and a great value

Toasts consistently and perfectly, heats items instantly - no pre-heating and waiting for a large gas oven to become the proper temperature. So great for every day smaller or medium-sized items. Compared to similar devices, some at much higher prices - it is also a great value.
I came to the site only because there have been times when I see that the toast is done, so I want to take out the bread and turn the dial to off. There seems to be some resistance in turning it back counter-clockwise. But from a comment below I see that, that is normal and will NOT harm the mechanism. So all good and I am pleased.

Nice Toaster Oven for Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this toaster oven last month and it is a nice appliance, but it is not perfect. For the price, it is a good buy. The toasting of bread is not perfect, and there is a lot of trial and error in preventing burnt toast. I have read other comments, and it strikes me as odd that the User Manual is not posted on the Website. The little pamphlet that came with the toaster/oven does not qualify as a User Manual. Why not put the entire manual on the website for this appliance and other appliances as a PDF document?? This would be easier on consumers and would reduce the time your Customer Care Dept. would need to send out manuals. Also, someone asked if aluminum pans could be used in the oven...I guess not. That information should also be out there in the Manual.

Great Value

I bought this model to replace a smaller B & D. I am well pleased with the toasting setting-easy to set, very fast and efficient. Evenly toasted too. I baked a pie in it and it browned up nicely without burning. I convection roast vegetables and bake potatoes quickly & perfectly. I am on a seniors budget so I appreciated the good price point where I could afford the turbo convection function. I would buy this unit again. If I was to wish for anything more it might be a tighter seal around the door. It may be designed to allow some heat to escape but I wondered if it was wasting energy. I think it is a win for me & my needs. It is good quality like all Oster products I've used.

Electrical Cord is too short

My mother bought this item about two months ago. While the baking feature is great, I am having a problem with a consistent toasting of my bread. I read the guidelines for toasting but even after adjusting the time my toast is burnt on top.
Also, mom and I are rather unimpressed with the electrical cord. It is way too short to reach my wall socket. My last toaster oven had a much longer cord and it reached from behind the toaster to the side wall were the socket is located. I live in an apartment and do not have a lot of counter space and the wall sockets are few and far between.
I would recommend this product for its convection oven but not for making toast.

poor workmanship

the p[ower cord is only 24' long, which makes it very difficult to place the toaster oven where i want it on the counter top.
there is a black plastic heat shield between the door and body. the heat shield on the right side is missing. the glue is there, just no heat shield.
i'm very disappointed in the quality control, workmanship of this product. if it wasn't sl large and heavy i would return it and buy a different brand
