Nice appearance but the controls are outdated, the heating is uneven and it takes way too long to heat up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I HAVE BOUGHT 6 OF THESE OVENS IN THE PAST FEW YEARS. I HAVE GIVEN THESE AS GIFTS TO FRIENDS AND RELATIVES. THEY USE IT EVERY DAY.IT DOES WAY MORE THAN JUST TOAST.

handle melted off

Have had for 3 years & appears thermostat got stuck/kept getting hotter and started burning everything then handle melted off! Would not recommend

Damaged trays

I just picked this up tonight from Walmart and when I took out the oven and accessories both the crumb try a baking pan were warped. I thought it would be in great condition after all the reviews I read and encouragement I received from a group I’m in.

FIRE HAZARD: Oster Toaster Oven Model TSSTTVDFL2-D

We bought this toaster a little over two years ago. Lately after the timer "bings" and shuts off, it mysteriously starts timing again on its own, clicking through to "stay on" (and it turns on again, without shutting off). This is a FIRE HAZARD. I have since read other online reviews that mention the same issue.

Doesn't toast evenly....

When ever we try to toast two bagels at a time the one in the back is done before the one in the front. The back one in the back is brown and the one in the front is hardly toasted. I would return it if I could.

toaster settings

does anyone have problems with the toaster settings? They replaced one because it would not toast a frozen waffle or pastry to the desired doneness It would shut off the toasting before they would be done. I have the same problem with the replacement, so now I'm in the market for a different brand. Charlotte

Temperature not as Hot as it once was

I bought this within the last year and it seems like the temperature is too low. It used to cook things faster and i'm finding that I'm requiring to add more time to cook things. It's rather frustrating after a long day and you just want to heat up some dinner in as fast of a time as possible. I don't know if there is a problem with the thermostat. I see there are other issues with this product. I would recommend going with another model.
