Parts oxidized in dishwasher

I bought this two years ago and put in the dishwasher maybe 3 times. It oxidized but it says it is dishwasher safe. Loved it until then even bought 3 more for my children at college. Not very happy now
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

RICE COOKER—BAD INSTRUCTIONS—NO RECIPES

I bought this, & have used it several times, BUT am very disappointed with the LACK OF INSTRUCTIONS AND RECIPES!! THE “instructions” WERE OBVIOUSLY WRITTEN BY A NON-NATIVE SPEAKER OF ENGLISH & THEY ARE ABSOLUTE GIBBERISH!!
I finally had to copy the instructions for my daughter’s DASH Rice Cooker (which also had some nice recipes), so I could figure it out!!! I have Bachelors & Masters degrees and speak FIVE (5) languages!!! OSTER NEEDS TO DO BETTER!!!!!

Loved it! Makes perfect rice every time and is non-stick. I did lose my measuring cup recently and am having a hard time finding a replacement.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Absolutely love this rice cooker. It is a perfect (small) size for 2 of us and makes rice perfectly every time. (We've had it for about 4 months now, but use it 3-4 times a week).
I would recommend this to a friend!

That is certainly not the experience we want you to have. No worries, we are here to help. To use your rice cooker to make rice the way that you like it:

For stickier rice: Add slightly more water.
For fluffier rice: Use slightly less water.
For softer rice: Allow the rice and water to soak for 10 to minutes before cooking.

• Do not keep rice warm for more than 12 hours.
• Do not open the unit immediately after the cooking cycle has completed. The rice should be allowed to settle for several minutes before serving.
• Stir the rice thoroughly before serving.
• Do not warm up the rice again after the unit has been unplugged.
• Empty the condensation collector cup after each use.

Once the silicone plug is gone on the glass lid this product will not steam properly. I’ve already replaced and it’s missing again. Waste of money

None of your "replacement parts partners" have a replacement glass lid for this rice cooker. Very disappointing.

I bought this rice cooker in 2016. I'm gentle, haven't used to often. The part, of the cord going into the cooker, is sparking. Not happy about this.
