Not great but cheap.

just bought it. cup and a half of rice and its bubbling over. pictures of cook and warm are not intuitive. but it did switch to warm without burning the bottom.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too small of a rice cooker. The box makes it seem bigger. It only says how many cups it makes on the box. The cup size included is too small. What happened to the days when you used to just sell a rice cooker at one size? I will look for a bigger one. One 8 oz. cup of rice to two cups water will always work for me.

Smells bad. Messy. Not User Friendly.

Smells terrible and messy. Not user intuitive. Made a complete mess. Had ro read fine print multiple times for clarity and still didn't give me an estimate for time.

So easy and convenient!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rice cooker ROCKS! It's the only one I've ever owned and I love it! I use to of course cook rice, but this cooker also comes with a steaming gadget and area to steam veggies as well! Its small enough to use on a kitchen counter without taking up much space! Rice and other food items dont take too long to cook and everything comes out cooked perfectly and tastes great! Made with long lasting material as well and a breeze to clean!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We eat a lot of rice, so this is perfect for us. Very simple to use. Used it 4 times the first week of having it. The clean up only takes a minute which makes it even better! Stores nicely and doesn’t take up much room.

Nice little cooker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always wanted to try out a rice cooker, and this Oster Diamond Force 6 Cup is a nice one! It's small so it doesn't take up too much room, and is easy to store. The way you have to measure the rice vs water kind of throws me off. It vaguely describes it in the book, but it's doesn't completely make sense. The first batch I made burnt on the bottom a little and was completely dry. The times I have used it since have been better though, so I am getting the hang of it. I wish it was easier to cook brown rice in it without having to add water. I do like that it includes a steamer basket that makes it easy to steam veggies while I am making the rice. It takes a little longer to make rice in this than it does on the stovetop, but not much. Overall it's a nice little cooker, and one that I will use on occasion.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Little, light, and low maintenance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so pleased with my Oster Diamond Force Rice Cooker! I don't love cooking and I dread it when I have to cook rice. Rice is high maintenance for me, it's hard to cook it just right with a pot. I love how I can put the rice and water in the Oster Rice Cooker, turn it on, and leave it. It comes out perfect every time! It's so simple to operate. I also really like that when it's done cooking, it goes into the warm mode and keeps the rice warm until we are ready to eat. I don't necessarily have to stress about timing all of our meal items for us to be able to eat everything warm. The clean up process is super easy. The rice cooker pot is really nonstick and it's easy to get the rice off of it for cleaning. And it can go into the dishwasher, always ma plus in our household. Another reason I hate cooking rice in a normal pot is because it's so sticky and hard to get off of the pot when it's time to clean it. I do wish the cord was a little longer and the rice cup and spatula could go in the dishwasher. Overall, it's a great rice cooker!
