Good quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't say good enough things about this skillet. I have always used skillets, I don't know why it's just the ease of pulling it out and cooking something up. I have even taken this camping with us and have cooked various meats, Veggies. Love making fried potatoes in it. Cooks very evenly. Everything I have made it in has not stuck to the pan. And I can't say how much I love the hinged lid! Sometimes while cooking and you take the lid off and set it on the counter it leaves the counter wet, Well this just lets the liquid go back in the skillet without making a mess! This is my favorite skillet by far!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great skillet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this skillet for a few weeks now. The instruction were pretty clear. It was very easy to set up. It’s the perfect size. It reduced cooking time for me. Very, very easy to clean as well. I love that the lid stays hinged because I don’t have to worry about where I will put the lid if I’m cooking. Overall a great electric skillet.

Great griddle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This griddle is very nice. The coating is very good, I have had no issues with sticking so far. The food cooks evenly. The surface area is very generous, without being too cumbersome and the warming try is a very handy feature. Overall, I am very pleased.

Pros and Cons

I bought this electric skillet because I trust the Oster brand and because of it's large size and Diamond technology. I've had this skillet for a week now and have used it several times. I do love the size and I have fit large quantities of food in it, and I love that it heats up fast and love the features of the lid . Although, I noticed that the pan and handles are made of rather thin quality and after only using soft silicon utensils it already has faint scratches on the pan surface. Also, after washing I still got a new pan taste in my food for the first few times I used. I wish the cooking surface of the pan was a little better quality. So far, not sure if it is the temperature settings or thin pan surface but food either cooks too fast or too slow. But I will say since it is still new, I will continue to keep and use, hoping to perfect the heat settings and find what cooks best in this pan because the size is great for bigger quantities for bigger families. Thanks!

Missing Instructions

We recently bought the electric griddle. It took us awhile to get it going since we didn't have an instruction manual. It took us some fiddling to get the plug to finally go into the receptacle. We almost put the warming tray and grease tray in the dishwasher but found out later that is not recommended. Wish I had a manual.

Excellent Griddle

I bought the model with a small grease tray, instead of the warming tray. I honestly have no use for either tray. But, the griddle is amazing for cooking pancakes.

Can’t clean the griddle

Bought this but there are gaps between the griddle and the plastic handles that you can not clean easily. There is no way to easily clean the product. I would not not recommend it

Disappointment to say the least

I’ve been struggling with this essentially since it’s purchase. 1st, heating is very uneven, and causes burning and sticking. 2nd, it’s heavily discolored after less than a year. 3rd, the power cord overheats and is a fire hazard!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
