Our new Camping necessity

This was a perfect cook tool for our camp out. We do cook on camp stove and over campfire but .... cooking on an even heat source of this electric skillet was great. We fried fish in it. Made grilled lunch sandwiches in it, eggs for breakfast . It was a great purchase for us. We plan to fry fish outside in it and not smell up the house at home. Only down fall was i broke the handle and I need to replace it. Looks like a simple fix. I just need to purchase the part. Thank you,

PROS: non stick surface is great. Cooks great For 3 weeks we used once week Cleans up with paper towel Everyone likes how it cooks and it was a good price at Target.
CONS: Handle Hinge broke after one month. This week we used 2 times everyday. After 3 days, hinge broke. We just open the lid and left it tilted back.
HOW DO I GET HINGE?

I was looking for nonstick that would not peel. I have not had it long and have only used it twice. That's enough to know I don't like the hinge lid (I thought I would). I don't like the location of cord socket, and cord is too short. I wish there was a center knob on the lid. Other wise it does what it's supposed to do.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dont work right

I bought this bout a month ago. It stinks.No matter where you set the temp it is on high. Set it to warm and it is on high. Something is for sure not right with this thing.Bad news for me is I threw away my paper work along with the extended warranty I bought with it. Never dreamed I would need it. Oh well, long as I only want to cook on high heat I got a great skillet !

No worries, we are here to help. If the temperature setting is not working properly, it might be because the unit is not getting enough power from the wall outlet where it is currently plugged in or the wall outlet itself is a non working outlet. To remedy this issue, check if there is no physical damage on its cord and if there's none, try unplugging the electric skillet. Let the unit rest for 3-5 minutes. Afterwards, plug it into a different wall outlet. Do not use it with any extension cords, power strips and power converters or inverters as it may affect the skillet's performance. Also, make sure that all parts and accessories are properly inserted. Otherwise, it might cause the product not to work properly.
Your electric skillet has a year limited warranty. If this doesn't resolve your issue, we'd like to kindly request that you contact us directly in order to help you get to the best resolution. Have a good day!

What happened?

My husband bought this for me around Thanksgiving because I love using electric frying pans for certain things.I was so happy but it has never cooked correctly, it seemed like it cooked on high no matter where I set the temperature, I used it a few times then put it away .I have been using it to cook fried pork chops a few times and I unplug it wait a few minutes plug it back in ,the dail on the cord turns in a circle and you can’t change the temperature setting , I really have been saying I’m writing you to let you know . Please help

Poor quality flaking after 2 months!

We bought this to use in our camper and only after 2 months it started flaking and peeling and we had pieces of non stick in our food! The leg broke after only 15 days and the lid detached from the body of the unit after 45 days. We paid extra to get a better unit and we were very disappointed. Do not waste your money on this unit!

I am not sure Why the temperature gage goes to 420

I bought this electric skillet to fry chicken and fish. I noticed the chicken was barley frying at the temp set at 350. So I increased to 375. I decided to check to see what the temperature of the oil after 20 minutes. I could only get the temperature up to 230 no matter high I turned it up? I have fried many batches of chicken and the was the sogginess, greasiest chicken ever!

No worries, we are here to help. If your skillet is not heating enough, it might be because the skillet's temperature control probe is not inserted fully into the probe socket. For a possible fix, check to ensure that the appliance is plugged into a working outlet and the temperature control probe is fully inserted into the unit socket. Then, turn the variable temperature control to select the cooking temperature.

Everything broke

Lid handle broke, legs broke, it doesn't even stay up straight, very dangerous, I loved it at first, but not built to last
