Good Dependable Skillet

I just bought my 3rd Oster Skillet! I use it almost every day and I got about 2 1/2 years out of my last one!!
Some suggestions on how they could make it better! 1. A vent hole in the lid so you don't get a face full of steam every time you lift the lid! 2. The metal of the pan could be just a bit thicker and heavier! 3. The Non Stick coating could also be a bit thicker as it does tend to wear off after time and use!

Poor choice if looking for long term appliance

Worked great at first. Now power cord is overheating and the lack of replacement parts is inconvenient. This is a throw away product, had this one for little over a year.
Original electric skillet lasted nearly 20 years.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cord has gone crazy

Bought this approx 6 months ago and the plug has gone crazy. Its on warm and its cooking on high burns the food. I need a new plug electoral cord.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
