Cord is an issue

I bought this skillet about 6 months ago, it works great, however the plug doesn’t push in correctly. Makes it hard to cook with and seems dangerous for it to come out on its own.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cheap plastic/not sturdy

I bought this product 2 months ago and the screw broke off on one of the legs. I am unable to get the broken piece of the screw out to replace so it just wobbles all the time. Very disappointing.

Not made to last!

Loved it for the first few uses until the leg snapped off. This is my second Oster Skillet and not one has lasted more than a few months. Growing up my Mom had an Oster skillet that was amazing! I wish I had it still, they don’t make things the same anymore :(

Low Quality

We have had this maybe a year at best, nothing like the Oster of old, the legs broke first but since we only use it camping I just took them off and kept using.
We don’t even go camping every month so light use at best. Today the temp control gave up, I just can not tell you how disappointed I am in Oster.
It did cook great though.

Skillet Hazard

I decided to use my big electric skillet for salmon patties instead of the stove and when I lifted the lid it had moisture on it and exploded everywhere, ceiling, my whole island, all over the floor. Not only housekeeping nightmare; I sustained burns. Our eight year old daughter witnessed incident. We were blessed five year old wasn't in area.
Only second time utilizing product and fear using again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
