Easy peasy to clean! I love it.

I bought this because we are renovating our kitchen. I don't know what we would have done without it!!! Game changer for sure. It's now going to be a staple in my kitchen.( next to my very expensive new range) lol

Tilt lid

I just purchased it March 6, 2021.... I love it the tilting lid that is attached no more looking for somewhere to lay while serving food! You can remove it too!!

I love my electric skillet. Have it for about 3 months. So easy to use and clean up is easy. Only one concern.
There is humming sound coming from the skillet plug when on. Is this normal?
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this about two weeks ago and I noticed that the lid had support but it was sturdy. Other then that I love it and can't wait for my next item?

Venting

I bought this because my 30 years old electric skillet said good bye. I thought this was going to be a good substitute. I mainly use an electric skillet to make gluten free English muffins. A skillet that bakes English muffins needs a vent to let the steam out so the water doesn't drip on the muffins. I am currently looking for a utensil that I can lay across the lid to let the steam out but the heat can still stay in the skillet. Wish I had noticed that this one didn't have a vent. I do like that it is large enough to hold eight English muffin rings at one time. Why doesn't a manual come with it?

Don’t buy!

My Mom is 80 years old and just bought this and threw the box away. Has used it and has burned herself twice as of today from a previous burn! She sent me a video of how the steam is coming out and that is how it happened! Very disappointed to hear this happened to my Mom! Having a hard time uploading the video. Oster needs to contact me on how to send this video. And I want this resolved.

I just bought it today. I love the size, length, depth, lid but it does not cook evenly and won't stay plugged into the skillet so it shuts off while cooking. Yes I pushed it in until it clicked, worked for a little while but then need to prop it up. I'll be returning it. Sad. Also I was cooking bacon so it was very obvious it does not cook evenly.

DO NOT BUY!!..This is the worst electric skillet I've ever owned in my entire life. Uneven heating, shuts off while cooking, and hard to clean between tray and plastic. All in all the worst of all electric skillets. Nothing but a piece of junk. Oh and the warming tray that is a seller for most doesn't keep your food warm either!
