Battery runs for more than 14 hours with no problems while using light coding and browsing. Keyboard, trackpad, and panel are all top notch. Very happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The keyboard is the main feature that people buy Thinkpads for, and spend extra money for, however the unit that I got had keys that required too much force to push past the initial tactile resistance. It was like typing on an Asus Zenbook. Once upon a time, IBM Thinkpads' keyboards brought joy, and were the gold standard, but today these modern chiclet keyboards do not bring any joy and are not worth paying extra for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Seven years ago, I bought him a Thinkpad prior to starting college. He mentioned he wanted an XPS but after reviewing it with him, he wanted the Carbon Thinkpad plus its known reliability. Computer is sleek and top notch! Very happy with the purchase.
