I actually got an X1 carbon with Windows 10 - but I got one with 32GB ram and an i7. The laptop is a beast and exactly what I was looking for. It is slim, modern and has more than enough horsepower for my needs.

It was time to get a new computer and decided to do some research instead of just grabbing the newest XPS model. I'm very happy that I came across the ThinkPad X1 Carbon lineup. It's by far my favorite computer I've owned. I like it because it is lightweight, has a long battery life, and is configurable with powerful specs.
