[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Previously had the Gen 4 X1 Carbon which lasted me for the past 5 years on Windows 7 but needed an upgrade. Beautifully designed computer, fast start up with the SSD, lightweight and performs well for my day-to-day activities with multiple programs open. Need to get used to the Windows 11 platform though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered i7-1185g7, 32GB, WQUXGA setup. SSD replaced with higher speed Gen 4 SSD, running Win11 Pro now. Very sturdy chassis. The laptop feels secure in your hand. USB-C/A combination is always welcome. 16:10 ratio screen never feels like small. Good battery life even with UHD+ resolution. Carbon weave lid is a bonus. The glossy screen bit annoying, and some decent film is needed. Overall, great package in a handy size. Highly recommended.
