Serious Quality Control Problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the laptop is ok. As far as features and form factor go, it's pretty good, but there are some serious quality issues with it. The webcam quality is awful, the keyboard backlight randomly cuts off, and the fingerprint reader is extremely inconsistent.
Both USB-C charging ports stopped working within months of ownership, causing the laptop to be un-chargeable. I believe this requires a hardware replacement. Even worse, this seems to be a common issue with this generation that has never been addressed. Even after getting the ports fixed, it will likely happen again, but this time the laptop will be out of warranty. This is a HUGE issue for something this expensive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
