I have been wanting a carbon for 2 years....finally got one! The machine is amazing! I am not a power user, but I will have 15 things going on at once.....not a problem for this power house! The screen is brilliant, the touch pad has been greatly improved and the touch is just what you would expect....flawless!!

Does not meet expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having previously owned a Lenovo Yoga that was absolutely perfect in every way, I am horribly disappointed in the ThinkPad. From an awkward trackpad to a camera that's bizarrely zoomed in on all my virtual meetings (with no apparent solution for zooming out -- believe me, I've tried everything), this laptop has none of the joy of the Yoga for me. It's lighter-weight, and the facial recognition sign-in is nice...those are the only good things I can say about it. It functions appropriately for the most part but takes longer to boot up than my 2017 Yoga did. Chrome seems buggy on it; I frequently find my entire internet frozen and unresponsive after the ThinkPad goes to sleep and wakes up again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
