[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a really nice laptop. The outside finish is pretty nice, matte black. The keyboard feels really great to type on. Laptop runs really smoothly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a great computer. I just upgraded from a much earlier model. The specs are great and it weighs roughly half the weight of the old model!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Meets all my needs, solid build, reliable so far but still pretty early to tell since I've only had it for a month or so.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light, Powerful, and extremely functional ThinkPad that is Windows11 compatible. Exceptionally long battery life and the device stays cool even with a heavy workload. Value wise, you get more than what you pay for when you buy a ThinkPad X1 Carbon.
I have been using the ThinkPad from the time of IBM ownership to Lenovo - they are a Great machine - I have tried others to my chagrin. The X-1 is a little more expensive but well worth it. The keyboard, the red dot point stick mouse, the layout, the constant updates, the excellent warranty service, everything is A plus. The only drawback is that it takes more than a month to get a fully loaded machine but the patience is worth it.
The laptop works very well, with the exception of the fingerprint reader. Let's say it's not "touch-n-go", it's more like touch-touch-touch and give up. Otherwise, this makes my 3rd carbon and I love them!
