[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hardware is great overall. Keyboard is too shallow and a downgrade even from previous generations with similar key travel. Software has issues. Does not shut down properly, and basically needs hard resets every time. This is a well-known bug on the Lenovo forum and the company representatives are aware of the issue, which has to do with the company's OEM kernel (issue goes away with generic kernel, but that of course compromises the fact that this product was promised to be 100% compatible with Linux). If they fix the software issues, then it will instantly become one of the best professional laptops on the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quite remarkable ... the X1 Carbon just keeps getting better ... even the new Gen 10 has not improved much from Gen 9. Very Happy with this product.
Battery/potential motherboard failure within 2 months of purchase. Apparently issue is common

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very sleek and cool. It is an enormous improvement from my old computer. It is significantly faster and the picture is beautiful. Lots of pixels. It is also very light. So light that you could forget it's there. The interface reminds me more of a chromebook than a windows computer, however, so that takes a little getting used to.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I was looking for in a small high performance travel laptop with a touch screen. There was confusion that I thought the 32GB configuration also came with the touch screen. Had to return and replace with 16GB configuration. That cost me a week's delay dealing with that. Was disappointed this was not available on the 32GB config.
