I spent a lot of money and ended up with a laptop with a screen that cuts out every few seconds. Will need to go through the pain of retunring etc.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty nice laptop, although I am a bit worried about the screen, since sometimes it flashes bright pink for a second.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Powerful enough to run the more demanding programs, compile code, etc. Very light, and small form. Keyboard is decent. Screen is great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product I purchased was Windows Edition. Product is so good, laptop is light weight, easy to setup looks very robust. From past 2 years a similar product (X1 yoga) is my work laptop, work experience was so seamless as I'm very impressed I purchased similar one for my personal use. I can highly recommend Thinkpad X1 series.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have purchase dozen's of X1 over the past couple years. This is by far the best value for the money spent. The internal specs keep up with industry standards while the physical dimensions make the laptop a enjoy to carry around. Add the 8 hour battery life and it is the first machine I deploy to our users. Well done Lenovo.
