[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laptop is great it boots up fast and does what I would expect it to except the battery life sucks. I tried to look this up before ordering and could not find any information on it. I saw a seller on another website say the battery life was 17 hours. well so far I can get up to 4 using windows office programs. I wish Lenovo had been more transparent about this. My 6-yr old laptop (Idealpad) also gets 4 hr so no improvement there).
I would recommend this to a friend!

This ThinkPad x1 has turned out to be the correct choice. Outstanding performance. It seemed like my home wifi had picked up about 200% in speed. The keyboard has a great feel and the battery performance is excellent. Screen display and sound are also totally great. Set up with Windows 11 went as smoothly as can be expected with a 75-year-old user.
