[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great laptop. It's small, light, powerful and gorgeous. Got the windows version from Lenovo and installed Ubuntu on it -- works flawlessly. Liked the keyboard on my old T440s marginally better but the X1 keyboard is still great, just an adjustment

Why I have been with Carbon series since year 2011

Since the first experience with it, I have been always recommended it to my friends, my colleagues, and my employers. Why? It's simple: I dropped it on ground several times, it never broken. I checked it in with luggage in cargo canbin, it arrived in a whole piece. I am not a careful person, it's the basic need that my working notebook has to ben solid and endurable. Of course, the light weight is another bonus - I am a woman, I like to carry a fashion bag rather than a computer bag - and the carbon is so nice to fit in the fashion bag because it's slim and light -- from a happy user
