I used the grill to cook a steak and used the smoker to do some chicken quarters and both styles were performed perfectly. Waiting for better weather to try every function of this grill/ smoker.

It is not only extremely easy to use, but the quality is fantastic. We have had the smoker for a few weeks now and we have used it a minimum of once or twice a week. We can’t wait to figure out what we are smoking next!

not what I hoped for

the door is thin and doesn't hold what little smoke it creates. I thought I was buying a smoker but this "smoker" needs additional help from other devices to create a good smoke.

Easy assembly with actual threaded holes that makes assembly alot easier and faster, well made and cooks even and seems to be true to temp. I tested with a meat probe that I already had out of curiosity. The temp was within 1 degree. I love the extra room in the hopper. This is the second zgrill that I have purchased, I dont remember the name of the original, but I bought this for the bigger size and the 2 probes that come with it. My only complaint is that the handle was stripped out either by me tightening it or was that way out of the shop. Better threads would be a nice change for zgrill to think about. I contacted zgrill and am currently waiting the replacement that was covered under warranty. Packaging was good and in two boxes which was nice for the delivery guy and me to get it in my barn.

Ny new Z Grill

This is a replacement grill since a storm last week destroyed my Z Grill 550A. The assembly was easy. It looks great, burn off went fine. Have not smoked on it yet, we are having rotten weather. If this works as good as my 550A I will be very pleased.

I had a good experience with the assembly process and the first fire went off without a hitch. My first cook was a turkey breast and it was very good. I need to refine my cooking technique to get a little more smoke but so far I am satisfied with my z grill.

We got this for our brother in-law's 50th birthday. He then cooked us a great meal on his new grill/smoker. It came out fabulous!
