Smoked a chicken and ribs. Grilled steak, lamb chops and chicken breasts. It all came out good. My electric smoker holds the smoke better and the meat has smokier taste, which I prefer. Pellet smokers seem to lose a lot of smoke around the lid. My wife commented, "why do you even need a chimney".
The accessories such as a thermal blanket and pellets, etc. seem overly expensive.

The Zgrill arrived in perfect condition and is easy to assemble. They include the screwdriver and wrench and a pair of gloves (nice touch) Followed the burn in directions and have done 3 cooks on it so far and it has performed great.

From the initial unboxing to the first 5 cooks I can safely say this is a great Grill/Smoker. Packaging was great and was impressed with the level of thought and care they put into protecting the unit and the foresight given to set up as you unbox. The grill was easy enough for one person to put together in 1 hour although a second person would be helpful given the size and weight of some of the items. So far the temperature control has been flawless and holds true compared to other thermometers/probes I have placed in the grill during cooks. This is a great grill for longer or overnight cooks and ideal for that application given the size of the hopper. I

Works good, Easy to use, No visible smoke at higher temps

Overall a good purchase I do not regret. The grill works well. Seems very efficient with the fuel. My only surprise is that you can't see or smell smoke when running at higher temps. That makes sense, but with something like a charcoal grill, you can throw a little soaked wood on at any temp and get a nice burst of smoke for flavoring. I've read that the solution is a "smoke tube" which is a third-party accessory. Probably should have come with one for the price IMO but I still strongly recommend this grill.

Experience was excellent , was very easy to put together . Grilled some ribs and were very tender and so delicious! I am extremely pleased with my purchase. I spent months looking at reviews with the zgrill and other pellet grills ,pit boss etc . And have no doubt I made the right choice . Thank you
