The hopper capacity needs to be updated because part of this says 20lbs and the other says 10lbs. It's a 10lb hopper. Other than that it's great. Holds the temp +- 10 degrees, doesn't over smoke the meat like I felt my propane smoker did. Very well constructed. For the money and what I've seen with the traeger, this is by far the better option, doesn't drop temp like the traegers do.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wich that you would put a pellet recovery and a internal thermostat fir to reed the internal the meat tempeture or what ever you cooking
I have been researching for a few months for a wood pellet grill/smoker. For the price point, I couldn't be happier. This grill holds the temp perfectly. If you are looking to enter the wood pellet world, this is the one for you. Only took me an hour to assemble and I was off and running.
Comparable to a Traeger, but much more cost efficient! Only draw back is that it is shorter than I expected and smaller. Works well for dinner for our family of 3.
I personally like this smoker. It’s my first one ever. If the temperature is off, close the stack or open it to get it right. I’ve smoked a brisket in 30 degree weather in the snow and smoked a shoulder in 70 degree weather. When it’s cold bring the stack down a few turns and vice versa when it’s hot to let more heat escape. It is a solid smoker in my opinion. Well built but it is my first smoker so can’t compare to anything else.
