It doesn’t put the amount of smoke into the meat that I would like. It does cook very nice. I use it for my restaurant.

this is the first smoker i have ever used. took about an hour to put together. after that just follow directions for burn-in then get to work smokin. ' pork shoulders and belly were awsome.

My husband loves this! I got it for him for Xmas and he’s using it all the time. He says it heats up up quickly and has consistent temperature. We also use the iGrill 2 with multiple meat probes to monitor, so don’t only rely on the ZGrill temp control to gauge where the meat is at.

I was used to using wood or charcoal to smoke but set the temp and forget about it on this. So far made Brisket, Ribs, Salmon, Smoked Jalapenos, and Pork Ribs. All turned out great. Also great value smoker.

Best Upgrade I Ever Made

TLDR version of this review is: As long as your unit is not broken on arrival (see other reviews), the assembly and initial firing process took a bit of time. The set the temp and forget it aspect of a pellet smoker is a godsend. You won't regret buying one of these if you want to improve or upgrade from a traditional smoker.I have smoked quite a few things on this grill since purchasing it. Every brisket, pork shoulder, rack of ribs and even vegetables have turned out amazing. I have been using a competition blend of pellets that uses Hickory, Maple and Applewood. The best advice I can give is to cover the drip pan in heavy duty foil to make cleaning the smoker easier.

Adequate Entry level pellet smoker

Easy to assemble at just under an hour. Good for a light smoke on your meat but keep an eye on the temperature. I have temperature swings of +/- 75 degrees. Also for added smoke flavor get a pellet smoking tube to add to the cook chamber.

We have had this grill for a few months now and have cooked many things on it. Have to say I am very happy with the performance. I normally fry turkeys for thanksgiving but decided to try one on the pellet grill. Everyone loves it and will be doing all our turkeys on this thing now.Pellet consumption is a lot lower than I thought it would be. I bbq on this pretty much every weekend and even some during the week. A bag of pellets normally last me 4-5 times on the smoker. Smoked a brisket for 8 hours and came out perfect and only used about a quarter of the pellets in the hopper.
