Hard to read Great battery life

This watch needs better backlighting for screen clarity. I’m really happy with the battery life. I don’t have to charge it before going to bed so I can monitor my sleep quality.

Nightmare screen navigation

So long as you don't try to change what's shown on the screen it's ok. A bit slow finding satellites however. Swimming recording poor...also doesn't seem to count laps of a pool

Battery lasts forever, I use it constantly to track activities and as my wake up alarm. Love that you can switch the screensaver, super handy when travelling to upload a watch face that shows several different time zones. Very easy to use and set up, I also bought one for my teenage son and he never takes it off. I find the step count to be very accurate and its waterproof which is a bonus as well.

Inadequate how-to-use manual, great otherwise.

I got this watch a month ago. Had a Forerunner 110 before, which died. have not yet been able to explore all the features because the manual that come with it is incomplete and inadequate. The manual is 109 pages long in a tiny font, and only 15 are in English. The other 90+ pages are in various languages I don't read. Completely useless to me. If you simply used all that excess space for more detailed instructions in the language of the buying user, it would be great. Should be able to do that. I should not have to go online to figure out clockfaces, or how to get back to my clockface after a run, or how to use the other features, etc. Other than that, this is a great watch. I love the size, I love the accuracy, and the Connect website

This watch was a serious upgrade from the Garmin Forerunner 45. Although it's very similar, it has been a huge improvement for me in recording my runs and training to the best of my ability. The screen is great and lights up well when running in the dark. This watch works great for all levels of users, and I would advise anyone looking for a watch who doesn't want to go too crazy for their first device, this is an amazing option.
