Simple design, great features

I've had the Forerunner 55 for a few weeks now and have loved the simplicity of the watch and the simple syncing with the Connect IQ app. I've used the GPS watch to track numerous activities - hiking, cycling, even sailing on my Sunfish. Very pleased with the watch!

I recently upgraded to the Forerunner 55 from an old forerunner 910xt.
I’m getting used to all the new features that the 55 offers. One great thing is how fast it picks up satellites! GPS on demand !
The number of metrics I can look at is ok, the screen is smaller than the 910.
The metrics the 55 gives me immediately is impressive. I had to go to YouTube to see what else the 55 can do !
So far, it’s doing what it needs to, though I’d like it to sync to Garmin Connect through the ANT+ antenna. Baby steps !

Is doing EVERYTHING that i wanted it to do. I love how it works with the app and how accurately it can track my run. I do wish that it was easier to see and illuminated more on the watch face, or if the watch face could be a little bigger. That really helps us runners with poor eyesight.

Just what I was looking for.

This is great in general. It doesn’t have all the features of the fenix, but for the price this is much better than the other smart watches. The accuracy is great, but the battery life is what blows me away. My wife has to charge her Apple Watch pretty much nightly. I charge mine for about 1-2 hours about every 6 days.
