Great watch for a great price!

This watch is excellent and has all the features and more that my old Garmin 220 had. I was actually surprised how many features the 55 has - I don't even need them all. If you need a smartwatch that has a good battery life and solid features, this would be excellent for anyone from beginner to expert.

Not that intuitive, screen is kinda dull and hard to read. I literally just use it to track my runs and I don't wear it anymore lol.

Perfect for my lifestyle and needs

I had the Vivo for several years and decided I needed a watch that would do a bit more. So far I'm still learning but the Garmin 55 has performed really well. The additional features are so helpful and actually keep me motivated. This item could easily be used by a beginner.

So far I have really enjoyed the Garmin - Forerunner 55. It gives great information on sleep, recovery, workouts - exactly what I need. I love that it gives immediate feedback as you are running about your pace, heartrate, VO2. The phone app has a lot of in depth analysis as well. Great affordable fitness smart watch.

I use this watch daily and record my workouts on it. Most of the time I really like it. My only complaints are that the sounds + vibrations that this watch makes are very loud and it's annoying. I don't know how to change this in settings. I've also had issues with the emergency alert. It seems like the watch alerts when there's a sudden stop, not a fall. When I fell and broke my arm trail running a few months ago, my watch didn't send an alert, but when I was cutting down a small tree with a hand saw, after I stopped, the watch alerted for an incident. Other than these things, I like this watch and would recommend.
