Has been super durable so far. I've smacked it on some rocks by mistake and the screen doesn't have any scratches yet. The GPS was a little off for the first few runs, but it seems to have self corrected. My longest outing with GPS on was 19 hours and the battery barely hung on. May want to opt for a higher end model if you expect to be out much longer.

Awesome entry level running watch.

I purchased this watch to function both as a smart watch and track fitness. I was happily surprised at the depth of functions available. Steps, heart rate, texts, calls, and notifications work like a dream. I am a sometimes triathlete, and this watch is perfect to keep me on my training plan and record workouts. Biking, running, and swimming all function great on this watch...although the swim distances are a little off.

I was wearing a Whoop strap, but missed wearing a watch; the Garmin Forerunner is Both! I love the data it tracks, it's easy to use for running, walks and more. Reviewing my run stats on the Garmin app is easy; very happy I switched. This is great for a beginner or intermediate athlete. I would recommend the larger models if you want to track your hikes on a map.

I decided to pair down a bit from my old Garmin Fenix- this has all of the main features I use on the regular, but is a bit smaller and less bulky which is nice because I have small wrists. It covers the bases for most of my daily activities and training and even offers helpful suggestions for workouts or rest days, which is nice when you need a bit of inspiration. I'll still reach for the Fenix when I compete in triathlons or go backpacking, but for daily wear, this little guy is great!

Good item, really good battery, i can go with it to places and the battery runs out after multiple days. Gives a lot of choice for types of sport. The only downside is the controls, you may need a few days to get accustomed to it. Buy it if you want a low price Garmin before going into the big thing. Dont forget to download a personnalised background.

Beginner gps watch

Great customisable display. For a beginner runner this is a fantastic watch. Not too expensive. Has a few bells and whistles that make it a nice add on. This watch is reliable and gets the job done. For the price, you can't go wrong with this watch. One nice feature is that you can create your own workouts in the app and send them to the watch.

I'm a distance trail runner, and this watch is fabulous! It's a great step up from the basic GPS watch I was using prior. I wear this 24/7 for VO2 max, heartrate, stress, step, fitness and sleep tracking. I love to see my trends and I appreciate their recovery recommendations. The only feature I wish it had is the "sleep score" that I see on more advanced Garmin watches. But if you're looking for a solid running watch that can monitor your daily health, this is for you!
