Perfect for running!

If you're looking for something outside of running I would probably look for something different but for running this is absolutely perfect. I love the simplicity!

Such an upgrade

Prior to purchasing my garmin, I used an Apple Watch to track my runs as I trained for a marathon. I didn't know what I was missing. This watch provides me with much more detailed information about my runs and my body than I've ever had before. Stress levels, body battery and GPS mapping my runs are some of my favorite features. The Garmin Connect app seamlessly connects with Strava to also track run information there. This watch is extremely lightweight and the battery lasts 5-7 days without a charge.

Great tracker and trainer

Have been using this watch for a little over a month now. Much like all the other Garmin devices I have used over the years, this watch has functioned flawlessly and really offers everything I wanted in a wearable. The download-able exercises and paths to goals are a added bonus.

Forerunner 55 beats everything else

I'm recently getting into running and previously had the Apple Watch from 2018. The Garmin tech is pretty amazing for me as a noob in the running world. Body battery technology has overhauled how i plan my days and it's extremely accurate. I have no idea how this watch would work for all marathon runner, but this specific model is killer for people that are pretty active in every way in life.
The GPS is great for tracking outdoor runs and for treadmill runs, you can edit the distance at the end of the run to calibrate it with the treadmill for accuracy.
It charges remarkably fast and the battery life is outstanding. It's comfortable to sleep in too which means that you can track your sleep habits and phases which has allowed me to change my routines and get better sleep over time.
Overall, there's nothing i would change about this watch and I'm a pretty big fan of it.

This is my second watch due to extreme abuse to the first one. My first watch held up I think a very fair amount of time in a rough environment. I enjoy the sleep and stress feature the most. I use this mainly to track walking and biking. I would recommend this to someone who likes to wear a regular watch and interested in upgrading to a smart watch. Very simple. This has just enough technology to keep me happy while not being too much.

Excellent Entry Level Watch

This watch is a fantastic way to get into the Garmin line of watches. It has all of the features you need to get into tracking your fitness progress. Highly recommend.
Here are five pros and cons for this watch.
Pros:
1. Versatility for most of your fitness goals and needs
2. Ease of Use, very intuitive to use
3. Good accuracy for tracking calories, elevation, GPS, etc.
4. Very stylish and will go with any outfit.
5. The Battery Life is excellent and can last up to two weeks.

4. It takes some time to get used to tracking your workouts.
5. If you're looking for a smartwatch that has all of the bells and whistles like an Apple Watch, this is not it.
