I replaced my Coros watch with the Garmin and I am totally satisfied with the ability to sync with a computer since I do not have a cell phone.

You can't see the commands, very small letters, very dim light and the GPS works when it wants to. I am NOT satisfied

I received this watch as an work anniversary gift. I was excited to be able to see what Garmin was all about but was let down. I have owned Samsung smart watches, Citizen Smart watches and figured that this watch would be right inline with those. I guess I had an unreal expectation due to the quality of my previous watches. The watch is really basic, lacks functionality and does not have the same features that other smart watches have. It is hard to navigate the apps. It feels like an old school game boy system, honestly.
I would say this is a great introduction to smart watches, but if you have experience with other brands I would stay away.

Switched from Fitbit to Garmin recently. I love my new Forerunner 55! Much more accurate and GPS is so reliable. Still learning all that it offers; fun to search through the various options.

Forerunner 55 Runner's Watch

I've purchased and received my new Garmin Forerunner 55 Runner's Watch about three or so weeks ago. I've used it in training runs several times since then. On the most part I like the watch. But, I just wish the fonts on various settings could be adjusted to be larger to read. The font size as on the default setting are a bit too small, and are particularly difficult to see at twilight, and/or after darkness sets in for the day. I had a Garmin Forerunner 15 for a number of years prior to the non-replacable battery dying out permanently. I loved the Garmin 15. And, I am still getting used to all of the additional bells and
whistles on my new Garmin Forerunner 55. My only complaint at this point is that the font size on the words on the various settings need to somehow have a way to adjust to be larger. However, all-in-all, I am getting more accustomed to the watch each time I use it, and I'm glad I've purchased it. Garmin has some
great products.

Fun watch

I received this watch as a replacement for my broken Forerunner 45s not long ago. I've enjoyed the different features, even if they have taken a while to get used to. I appreciate the extended battery life and the swimming activity tracker. Overall, a fun watch to have!

Great Features but very difficult to read

I bought this to replace my Fitbit and I am very happy with this watch except for one thing. It is very hard to see the watch face in dim situations or in a car. The light is poor quality.
