Great for marathon training

I bought this about a month ago. I've been using it for all my training runs for the Chicago Marathon. It allows me to track everything and posts immediately to Strava once I linked it. Overall would recommend especially as an inexpensive entry level running watch.

I have wanted to get a Garmin for a while now (former long distance runner) and while I no longer can run, I use my Garmin in everyday life to track my heart rate and manage my chronic illnesses. Hopefully one day I will be able to use the rest of the great features!

Simple and accurate

I bought the 55 last month to replace another smart watch that had a very short battery life and have been really happy with the forerunner. I was looking for a watch that tracked workouts accurately, lasts for over a week between charges, and has metrics.
This checked all the boxes for me and was better for me than a more advanced smart watch.

To big for tiny wrists

I wanted to upgrade my Garmin 45s to a better running performance watch. I purchased the Garmin 55 and lets just say it was way to big for my tiny slim wrists. Not only was the watch band to big but the watch itself was to big. I couldn't make the band any tighter to keep the screen in place but it was to tight. I ended up returning the watch. I am still looking for a watch to upgrade my Garmin 45s. I want to take my running to the next level.
