light weight, quick GPS, quick sync

the 55 is very light an low profile which is very nice. It gains the GPS signal very fast and syncs almost instantly when it connects to my phone. Too many extra features for me.

I had the Garmin forerunner 45 but got this one this time and it’s great. I love the recovery time it tells you right after. Works well for gym and running for me!

I bought this watch to track my runs & I have found that it works very well. I can see my progress on the watch as I'm running. The features it has tells me everything I would want to know about my run - pace,time,distance,heart rate, cadence. I'm sorry I didn't get this watch sooner.

Great Watch for Beginners and Experienced Runners

This is a great watch for both beginner runners and experienced runners looking for basic feature and ease of use! It’s functional and has all the features I’d want in a running watch. I’m used to the Fenix series so I was worried this would be a step down from that but I’m learning I don’t really need all those extra features. It’s got the body battery energy monitor that I like and the advanced running features that the Fenix had without having too much extra stuff. The battery life is pretty dang good! Only complaint would be there’s no strength training feature so I can’t track my strength workouts. Other than that it’s a perfect watch!
