T500 Air Purifier

About 15 years ago I bought a T300 air purifier, using it on and off depending on how bad my allergies were. It has worked wonderfully the whole time. I recently moved and decided to have a purifier in two rooms so I got another one. Knowing the quality of Alen air purifiers I am confident the T500 to do the same.

Strange smell

The purifier has a strong smell. The smell isn't as strong or noticeable after running it for a few weeks, but every once in awhile you'll catch a whiff. Also a few times when I wanted to change the fan speed, I would push the button but nothing happened. I have to turn the purifier off and back on and then it works fine. Maybe I got a dud.

This air purifier works. No sinus problems. House has a fresh feel. It works best on the highest mode The lowest mode is quiet. I use high mode during the day while away. The lowest mode for the evening hours. I am happy with this purchase. PS I researched many other brands before this purchase. Many.

My unit is not as quiet as I would like so using it in the bedroom is not an option. It is, however, working fine in another room.
