Quiet machines; rooms smells and feels clean, we upgraded to the pet/dander filter, allergy symptoms reduced and able to sleep better due to reduced allergy symptoms. t500 placed in master bedroom. Highly recommend for those that suffer from allergies and have pets in your home. We also purchased the Breathesmart classic for the main portion of our living area. Air feels cleaner and has made a difference in allergy congestion. Even helps to eliminate odors from cooking. We leave the setting on auto and runs so quietly for how much air circulation it can do. Highly recommend

Poor quality

I had my unit for about 2 weeks before it started making a crinkling noise. I called Customer Service and they were very helpful and sent me a new T500. We set the new one up and instantly the unit starting making the crinkling sound. I realize it is when I hit the ION button. Otherwise the fan works fine. Needless to say we’ve had a terrible experience with this product and I will be returning.

I bought two of these. One for each bedroom. One has a small vibration when ion is used. The other vibrates on high speed. I assume they do what is expected. Time will tell if air quality is noticed. Would buy again.

Waiting for Corona - Not

I have used Alen Towers and filters for the last 10 years. I have allergies and asthma. I have lived across from the ocean where mold is a challenge and now in the high desert where dust never ends. In each case, I have been feeling good and protected. When the Corona Virus broke out, I felt protected and have not been affected in any way...nor is anyone in my household. I can now afford to renew my filters every three months to continue the great life protection with clean air forever. Thank you.

Clean Air Machine

This is our second Alen T500. Our 1st one went with our oldest daughter to college and this 2nd one will accompany our 2nd daughter to college. On move in day, we started up the Alen T500. Within a short time, it removed the musty smell from her dorm room and left the air smelling much fresher and cleaner than when we first moved her in. We like the compact design and pretty quiet operation. Overall we are very happy with this product.

I purchased 2 of them and the air in my home seems much fresher and cleaner. I notice a slight reduction in the accumulation of dust but not as much as I had hoped. Still I would recommend the product for smaller spaces.
